After Lorin having chosen the logo symbol I had to choose the typeface that worked best with it.
A typeface I liked called Sandord works well with it as it is not too heavy as the logo is quite delicate so work well together. I experimented with the size of the symbol and the type:
I also created a pattern using the symbol which could be use on the reverse of material such as letterheads, compliments slips and business card in a subtle way.
Here is the logo I think works best:
The type with the curved O's didn't seem to be working well with the symbol, as it was like two logo clashing against each other and seemed to be fighting. I replaced the O's with the symbol and it is still readable as a O. The logo doesn't take up as much space so may work better across collateral, I will pitch both back to Lorin to see which she likes the best,
